If I am a non-PABSC organization or team looking for field time, what do I need to do?
Complete the request form. We do not accept email or mail in requests. All requests must be made through our electronic rental request forms. If you are willing to be flexible with dates/locations, please note this on your field request form. (For example, instead of a specific date, you could request "a weekday the week of July 4-9".) Note: Most of the space we have available tends to be at "off peak times" including weekend afternoons and evenings. Weekday request are very hard to accommodate.
Tournament request forms are accepted at any time up to 1 year prior to your tournament date.
Request forms for spring/summer season games (April 1-July 31) will be accepted starting March 15. Forms for fall season games (August 1-October 31) will be accepted starting July 15. Requests will NOT be accepted prior to that date unless your roster is comprised of 95% Perrysburg residents. If 95% of your roster is comprised of Perrysburg residents, you may make your requests 3 days prior to the start date (March 12 for spring/summer bookings and July 12 for fall bookings. You will receive an email within 72 hours of your submission confirming receipt of your request.
Request forms for practices are accepted starting 14 days (2 weeks) prior to your practice request. Requests will NOT be accepted prior to that date unless your roster is comprised of 95% Perrysburg residents. If 95% of your roster is comprised of Perrysburg residents, you may make your requests 21 days (3 weeks) prior to your requested date. You will receive an email within 72 hours of your submission confirming receipt of your request.
If your request is accepted, you will need to provide insurance documentation, a signed liability form, and payment prior to your booking being confirmed.
Info on Required Insurance: Groups leasing the facilities must furnish a certificate of comprehensive liability insurance. The certificate must name both the City of Perrysburg and PABSC as insured, with coverage of not less than one million dollars ($1,000,000.00) for any and all injuries to or death of one person and one million dollars ($1,000,000.00) for any and all injuries to or death of more than one person in any single occurrence insuring both against any and all claims, demands, actions, or causes of action which may arise, of any nature, kind or description whatsoever, resulting from the use of the premises or participation in or attendance at the facility and one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000.00) for any single occurrence of property damage.
All bookings be finalized by the Wednesday prior to the week you are scheduling an event. This allows us time to have your request reviewed before our staff schedules are set for the week. Shorter notice will be handled in limited circumstances if able. Please know that requests take time to process based on your request and the season. All requests are reviewed individually which does take time. Every effort will be made to get you an answer on your request within 1 week, however, during our busy scheduling times, it may take 2-4 weeks depending on the number of bookings you are requesting and when the request is placed. If this is your first time requesting time with us, allow for additional time, as there is additional paperwork that will need verified by our organization and the city of Perrysburg prior to rental. Requests are not confirmed until you receive a confirmation email. Your fees will be due upon confirmation of booking and more information will be included with your confirmation email.
Please note - Non-PABSC bookings are approved on an individual basis based on projected field space at the dimensions you are requesting. Our first priority when scheduling is to those kids in the PABSC House and Travel leagues. Our 2nd priority is our reciprocal agreements with Perrysburg schools and the City of Perrysburg Recreation Department.
Are the fields open or closed on the day of my booking?
Follow us on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/perrysburgpabsc. If we are closed for the day, we will post 4pm each weekday and 9am each weekend. NOTE: We only post if closed. If there is no post for the day letting you know we are closed, we are open.
What are your field rental rates?
Rates depend on the type of event being booked, the season, and the field being used. Meyer Field use is at a higher cost due to the increased grounds time/supplies.
For the 2024 season:
Games $80 - includes use of field 30 minutes prior to game time (complimentary) and 2 hours of game time; if additional time is needed, time can be booked at $20 per 30 minutes
Games at Meyer Field $120 - includes use of field 30 minutes prior to game time (complimentary) and 2 hours of game time; if additional time is needed, time can be booked at $30 per 30 minutes
Doubleheaders may be booked by adding time in extra 30 minute increments. There will be no re-prep of fields between games.
Practices $45 - includes 90 minutes of time - no guaranteed prep except bases set out
Practices at Meyer Field $60 - includes 90 minutes of time - no guaranteed prep except bases set out
Tournament Rates - Will discuss individually and will be based on number of fields used, amount of time needed, number of grounds crew members needed, and prep requirements.
We accept check as well as ACH and credit card payments. Electronic payments (ACH) and credit card payments do incur fees. The fee will be added to yoru rental charge if you choose to pay by electronic means.
